When saving goes weird

#1 Post by Mooneon » Tue Jul 12, 2016 11:58 pm

Okay so when I save in my game and it returns looking like this:
Screen shot 2016-07-12 at 8.46.13 PM.png
There's no textbox to show. But of course when I click ESCAPE on my keyboard the textbox shows. But still i don't want this to happen. I don't know why the textbox doesn't show when I'm done saving my game.
(Also mind the background, cause I resized my whole game and I just need to fit all the images with the screen.)

have you tried putting "window show" at the top of your game right after label start? Then your textbox will always be visible no matter what.
A Close Shave:
*Last Thing Done (Aug 17): Finished coding emotions and camera for 4/10 main labels.
*Currently Doing: Coding of emotions and camera for the labels--On 5/10
*First Next thing to do: Code in all CG and special animation stuff
*Next Next thing to do: Set up film animation
*Other Thing to Do: Do SFX and Score (maybe think about eye blinks?)

So what you're saying is: the file screenshot produced when you save the game doesn't show the text box?

If your file screenshot code is correct, try clearing the cache folder of your game. This might help. : )
