How do I stylize text with a gradient?

This is how I would want it to look like_
White on the top
Blue in the middle
Black on the bottom

What would the code for this look like?
If an Owl hoots in a forest, does it make a sound?

I don't think this is possible yet unless you use image based fonts. :c

Worth mentioning that bitmap fonts by nature can't make use of renpy's tech to automatically resize text and have it look always crisp.

I too have been eager for this functionality for a long while but I don't know if it's in the plans yet.

But breaking it down line by line and applying gradients that way may prove tricky and even for this, one or two hacks are needed. Basically, it will be messy, difficult and the best way to get it done is unclear
