How to make a character sheet in Ren'py

#1 Post by notanautomaton » Thu Feb 23, 2017 5:54 pm

I'd like to add rpg elements to my game, and part of that would be a character sheet that I can refer to in the game code and the player can refer to in the game. How would I go about setting this up?

What do you mean character sheet? Do you mean a sprite sheet showing all of that character's expressions? Or do you mean a list of characters? Or something like a list of character profiles that the user can access from the menu?

Rpg character sheet=the character data.

To show something llike, the best thing to do is to use variables and create a screen that show those values in the gamemenu when playing (or a direct button).
I can help you if you give me some more hint. Like exactly what data you want to show, if those data will change along the course of the game and if you want for the screen to be a stand alone or inside the usual navigation.
If you want to debate on a reply I gave to your posts, please QUOTE ME or i'll not be notified about. << now red so probably you'll see it.
