Tile/Unit-Engine : Animations

#1 Post by zanaikin »

I hope the guy who wrote the Tile/Unit-Engine code is still around to look at this :p

So that's a particularly thing I figure I'd ask before I mess with it too much, but.

It does not seem like UnitEngine v1.0 is designed to work with animations. I realize that frame-by-frame animations (in separate .pngs) can be worked in pretty easily with some code changes but, is there an easy way of loading in animation file formats such as .gifs ? Since currently it just automatically loads in the first frame and ignores the rest of a .gif animation.

Thanks in advance.
