A few people had the same problem of none of the texts showing up in the demo of the game I'm currently working on.
Did anything like this ever happen to you? What could have caused it? How did I manage to break my own game T_T?
Doesn't seem to be a font issue, because the codex and the dialogs have different fonts, and the font files are within the extracted folder of the people who are having this problem.
Many people, including me, didn't encounter anything like this. But I've seen at least 3 people with this issue. T_T

korova, thank you for your reply!
I don't have translations in the game.

Are you using some non-standard font, which is not supplied with the game?

The probable cause is old video drivers on the player's systems. (Perhaps in conjunction with the use of viewports around text.)

Ocelot, no. I'm using standard otf and ttf. =/
Pytom, it seems to be affecting only Windows 7, 1366 x 768 users.

I will try to remove the Viewport of the say screen, but the codex doesn't seem to appear either.
Anyway I can fix this on my side?

I haven't been able to figure it out. Everytime I've seen something like this, it's been traced back to old, buggy Intel video drivers from 2013-ish.

Ahhh! Okay! I'll make a note in the readme section. Thank you for the reply!
