Hey, everyone. I'd like to announce that I've started a Ren'Py patreon.

It's a little weird, since I've decided that the one thing I won't do is to lock code behind a Patron - I want to be sure that the best version of Ren'Py I can make remains available to everyone without charge. That's why instead of the rewards being software based, I'm offering to let people sponsor Ren'Py in exchange for acknowledgement on the Ren'Py website - sort of how people sponsor public television and radio.

Of course, no such sponsorship would be complete without a tote-bag equivalent - in our case, Ren'Py-related art postcards that will be sent to you once a month. The cards will even have a little calendar on the back you can use to track the days spent working on your own projects.

I realize that not everyone can sponsor Ren'Py - and that's why I want to make the best software I can available to the world for free. But if you can, this will let you help me by providing me with the hardware, software and resources I need to keep improving Ren'Py.
