Shade on the background during dialogue
Hi guys,
I want to add an automatic Shade on the background (by image or by code) during dialogue scene.
How can i do this dynamic ?
is that possible ?

This probably isn't the best way to do it, but you could create a screen with a transparent black (or whatever color) image and then call it before dialog and hide it afterwards.

I think you can add an overlay image to the choice screen in screens.rpy I'm not 100% positive on how b/c I've never done it but I think you can modify it there

If it's to show transparent overlay during the choice menu then I wrote a way to do it in another thread here: Choice Menu Background and Textbox

Not sure its the right way to do.
Maybe in the screen.rpy just add a translucent image.
I want to add a "filter" on the background when dialogue phase not choice phase.
The response on the top are correct but i m pretty sure there are a right way to do this.
