How does the completion progress indicator work?

#1 Post by cyanic »

I noticed in the changelog that a while ago a completion progress indicator was added that can be accessed with F2. I checked it out, and apparently the first number is number of dialog blocks seen this session, and the other is some kind of progress (lines? dialog blocks?). I'm trying to figure out exactly how this works, since in my game it only seems to change every half a scene and starts with roughly 800/2000 on the second number. (My script is a bit unusual in that it's tool-generated using data from another not so similar engine, so not sure if that has something to do with it.) On a different game it seems to work as expected...

It's the number of blocks of text you've seen in any playthrough and the number of blocks of text total.
