Auto-scroll Viewport (solved)

#1 Post by Milkymalk »

I'm trying to display a map in a viewport, with a list of places next to it. Clicking a place name should move the viewport to center on the place on the map.

I can already center any place on the map when I show the screen, but I fail to manipulate it afterwards. My guess is that I can use AnimatedValue to achieve my goal, but as is often the case the function is not documented in a way that I understand (examples help me much more than IT-correct descriptions).

Also, if possible I'd like to be able to use transition warpers like easein/easeout, but AnimatedValue doesn't seem to offer these.

Any pointers or examples how to do this?

EDIT:
I revisited another thread and took my examples from there :)
