Ren'Py likes to use over 80% of my CPU just to play a video, and it slowdown and skip frames.
My CPU is old but it's 6 cores and using 6 cores to play a video seems weird.
Any way to fix it?
And Yes, I have updated the graphic drivers and tried changing the settings in Shift+G.

Playing a video should impact your GPU, not your CPU, not to mention a hexacore CPU should be utter overkill even if underclocked. For example, I run Ren'Py games on a severely underpowered laptop (really more of a tablet in a laptop package) just fine.
What are the video specs, are you able to check, or have the files been archived, any other programs or services running at the same time?

Also, please check you're on a recent Ren'Py, there have been massive improvements in video playbacks in recent versions.
