[SOLVED]How to overwrite or override a screen

#1 Post by darckshame »

Hello, I'm looking to change or override a screen so that I don't need to change the original file, just like for a label.

Code: Select all

init python:
    config.label_overrides = {"start": "start_mod"}
And I'm looking to do something like

Code: Select all

init python:
    config.screen_overrides = {"start": "start_mod"}
Can it be done because this method doesn't work for me?

this might help you a lot

Screens and Python

but for note about locking I don't mean to be rude anything like that but just trying to helping out

locking means: I'm locking my car door

looking means: I'm looking for my car keys

I'm sorry, I found an answer here , but if there are still other ways like the one I asked in the first post I don't mind "hearing" about them...
