I'd like to have namebox coming in different colors depending on the character speaking, while the text with their name stays white for everyone.
I was wondering if it was possible to have one default white namebox and change its color altering the RGB percentage? Perhaps in the code you use to define characters?
I'm only used to remove the saturation from sprites or background art so I'm not sure this would work for the gui as well...? If this would not be workable, should I upload a different namebox's png file for each character?
Thank you to anyone willing to help!

Check MatrixColor manipulator https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/displaya ... atrixcolor
You are probably want im.matrix.tint or im.matrix.colorize for this job.
