A couple of my demo playtesters have had issues like this and this when trying to open the game
they claim it's not an issue of extracting wrong nor is it their computer registering the program as a virus, so i'm kinda stumped. I've updated ren'py and everything to try to fix the issue, there's no conflict in my script or anything, considering the game still works for me and others. They tried running as admin, etc.
here's screenshots of the errors from two different players

Re: Playtesters getting errors
have you tried it on a different computer not on the one that you have created it on?
I suggest they try to re-download it and try again they might of had a internet hiccup when they download it the first time

And no, since i don't have access to one, but not all of my playtesters were experiencing the error. Two had, different from mine, the same kind of computer (ROG) One was able to work it, the other wasn't. both had windows 10 and used the windows version of the distribution.

Re: Playtesters getting errors
The player in picture 2 appears to be trying to start the game from the cache folder. They need to open it from the actual folder where they exxtracted it. It looks like they used Microsoft Edge to download the game and then open the zip from the downloads tab. They have not extracted the folder.
For pic one, can you ask the player what the directory path is called. It might be that it contains special characters not permitted.
