Need help with default text speed setting [Solved]

Hello all!

I just started using Ren'Py.

I changed the config.default_text_cps to 2, but it has no effect whatsoever. The cookbook says to "close Ren'Py, delete game/saves/persistent, and then re-launch your game.", but I don't see a "saves" directory anywhere?

Ren'py/projectname/game/saves?

Nothing there? It should be, saves dir is created when you run the game at least once.

Data Location. The place where the data is stored varies based on the operating system being used:

* Windows: %APPDATA%/RenPy/persistent
* Mac OS X: ~/Library/RenPy/persistent
* Linux/Other: ~/.renpy/persistent

Since 6.9.0 it has moved to someplace in your Documents folder, I think.

Or from the launcher, just click tools, then "delete persistent."

Thanks to both of you for such quick repies.
I found the folder in
C:\Documents and Settings\ＵＳＥＲ\Application Data\RenPy
deleted "persistant" and now it works. Thank you!
