I'm brand new to Ren'Py, so please excuse me if my questions seem stupid!
I'n trying to extract/fix the dialogue in an existing game. It was translated by the creator from Japanese to English using Google Translate, and there are MANY errors. When I try to extract the dialogue Ren'Py goes through the motions, says the text is saved to a certain file, bu that file is always empty. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Extracting dialogue
Is their dialogue in the game's .rpy files? Sometimes translations from other engines will use Python logic or screens to handle the dialogue, so it won't show up.
You might want to try with the_question, and see if it works. The dialogue will show up in the_question/dialogue.txt.
