Narrator character text pops up in every timeout

Narrator character text pops up in every timeout

Well, I tried to write into subject what my problem is.. I have this character known as 'Narrator' in my game, but what is annoying as heck, his text pops up in every dissolve and every time there is any kind of delay - narrator doesn't even come into play until way after halfway point of the story but this text problem appears from the very start.

Any suggestion where to start looking into this? I first compiled this story with 6.99 and this problem was not there, now after upgrading to 7....

Hmh... I guess I have to try to figure this one out myself :-<

Ren'Py has its own "narrator" character that is used when you write text and don't specify the speaking character. Is this your issue?

Hmm... own narrator.. I guess that might cause these weird issues I'm having - I have always defined speaking character, but if there is any kind of pause in the text flow, narrator text, as a speaker I mean, pops up without any content... hmm.. I guess I have to go through my code few more times...

Yup. Thanks for the tip - when I removed my narrator definition, things started to work properly.
