preferences.afm_time for auto forward

i saw this in options.rpy and the default value is 15.

I tried to changed it to 30 and 0 but i didn't see any differences it made. Actually....what is auto forward and when we can use it? Thank you

Hi, i've read the documentation before i asked. I know it appears on preference but when i changed the value (15 to another number) it didn't bring any changes. So i want to know where does this afm affect to? Thank you.

It adjusts the wait time when auto mode is enabled.

On your quick memu there should be an 'auto' button. By clicking it, the game will automatically advance without need for user interaction (no need to click the mouse)
The delay between lines of dialogue, is what that config option adjusts.
