'Relationship score' up or down animation/movie?
So, newbie here, does anyone know how to have a short animation that is essentially a glow effect or other such thing based on your answers? I have a relationship 'score' counter that, depending on your answers, adds to or subtracts from the score. I'm basically going off of 'Dream Daddy' animations at this point, but a little simpler. Do I need to input a movie behind the character that is essentially a 'good' or 'bad' reaction, or can I just use a still image and transform it? I'm sure both will work but what seems better to use(aka, better quality, effect, works well with bg, etc.)? I'm sure most of you have more experience than I do.

You could use an animated image.SplashyDashyBomBashi wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 10:07 am So, newbie here, does anyone know how to have a short animation that is essentially a glow effect or other such thing based on your answers? You make one like this.
Code: Select all
image goodReaction:
GR1.png
0.2
GR2.png
0.2
GR3.png
0.2
repeat
You show and hide the animated image the same way you show or hide any other image.
