All right, so I'm trying (and failing) to do an Android build. But more concerning to me is that somehow it's causing a glitch with Ren'py.
After replicating the error a couple of times, I watched very carefully what I was doing. (And the only way I can make Ren'Py work again is to unzip a fresh copy)
1) I have used Ren'Py for a while without issues
2) As per the directions, in order to do a build for Android, I have Ren'Py download and install RAPT. After that has completed, I restart Ren'Py and it's fine
3) Next I do the Android SK install part. Everything goes smooth Restart Ren'Py and again it works fine.
4) I execute the Ren'Py build for Android. It fails. (\rapt\android.keystore' not found) I close everything out. Shut down Ren'Py
5) I start Ren'Py and "ScriptError: could not find label 'start'."
All the threads I've found referencing this error offer me solutions that don't work or, frankly, I don't actually understand. I also don't know what is making this happen in the first place. Inevitably, it's something dumb I'm doing but I can't figure it out so I'd appreciate a clue or two.
Renpy won't launch (after working fine previously)
