I'm using Renpy 7.1.3 on Windows 7.
I click "Navigate Script">"Add script file", which brings me to the screen where I entire a filename.
I type in something innocuous, like "vampires", "blue", "pancakes", etc. I click "Continue", which adds ".rpy" to the end of the filename.
I click "Continue" again, and absolutely nothing happens.
Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong right now?

Seems to be a bug.

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure if it was some kind of bug/error, or if there was something obvious that I was missing.

Re: "Add Script File" Not Working?
I generally just make the file in my text editor (Atom). Try that as a way to get around the bug.
A Close Shave:
*Last Thing Done (Aug 17): Finished coding emotions and camera for 4/10 main labels.
*Currently Doing: Coding of emotions and camera for the labels--On 5/10
*First Next thing to do: Code in all CG and special animation stuff
*Next Next thing to do: Set up film animation
*Other Thing to Do: Do SFX and Score (maybe think about eye blinks?) Check out My Clock Cookbook Recipe: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 51&t=21978

Re: "Add Script File" Not Working?
That seems like the best option right now, yeah.
Also, I wanted to ask something kind of silly that I'm not sure deserves its own thread.
I know that you need to set defaults for flags before the start label in a project, does that mean you need to list all your flags in the same .rpy file as the start label?
Theoretically, could I have a seperate .rpy file for organizing all my different flags, or will the game be unable to detect the default values if they're not in the "main" .rpy?

You can place defaults in any file.
Personally, I use a file I call inits.rpy where I place all my defaults and initialisation stuff.
