Hi,
In game i will make a chase scene perhaps, but the problem is...
If i had 3 choices per menu, what will i do when the others are labeled and the other aren't labeled? (which is going to be an error. With no such as label, i do like If statements.)
Like.. i chose "Run" instead of "Hide" or "Rush", And the second, "In closet" instead of "Under table" and "Locker" and last is "Run outside" instead of "Stay" and "Wait to turn"..
So the only if statement is..
Run, in closet, and run outside..
So other players chose like..
Hide, In closet, Run outside..
Which is i didn't make a route for this one.. and the others too.
So what will i do to the other choices?
Else perhaps.. elif perhaps.. or label?
I know some people will find another way to achive some endings they wanted.. i don't know about my "Map of choice".. (its hard to implement in my concept.)

I'm not sure if I have understood the question correctly. Sorry if my answer doesn't make sense.
The thing is: you must write every route if you give the player the option. If you don't want to write that route, then don't give the option.
It's true that the Map of choices is hard to do, but the Map of choices IS the game.
So, think carefully about it and put only the options that you are going to write.
