[SOLVED] How to make game remember choices after closing it?

#1 Post by JustAlexander »

Hello, I just wanted to ask again (Sorry If I passed some question limit or something) about something I was thinking for some time.
Is there a way to make a game remember choices even after closing it?
For example:
Let's say the player could kill one of the character's the message would be:

Code: Select all

"Oh no! You killed Mark! I didn't even know someone would want to do this!"
But, if the player plays the game again and gets to this scene the message would change into:

Code: Select all

"You're really enjoy Mark dying, aren't you? Just wanted to tell you this is very sick."
OR, made a game remember some value, like player deaths (The first message in the game is "You have died [Value] times." and the [Value] would increase every time player dies.)
Is there some way to do something like this or is this too complicated/crazy to work?
