Have a button selected by default

#1 Post by Kinmoku » Tue Jun 11, 2019 11:38 am

Hi all,

When using a controller in a Ren'Py game, it feels much better if the menu buttons are selected by default (hovered state), but I have no idea how to go about doing this for every button in the game! It saves the player having to press left/ right twice.

I know I need to figure out how I can force the default focused button after an interaction, but I'm stumped. Has anyone done something like this before?

If I'm not being clear, let me know and I'll try to explain better.

Hmm. It's helping me understand a little but this is all new to me. I think what I'm trying to do maybe too advanced for me right now! ^^;
