I'm wondering the best way to display an image (in this case it'll be a small solid color square) next to the cursor after clicking an event. It will come and go and I looked into get mouse x,y but there wasn't much on it and what I'm wondering about specifically is something that will actually move with the cursor if possible?
It'll basically mimic picking up something and dropping it but they aren't actually picking up the actual object is the thing so using drag isn't really what I want and I want the object beside the cursor, not under it. (I think. I could change my mind about that)
Is this too complex? Or am I better off using an if statement and having a draggable image appear that is automatically grabbed by the mouse and goes away when clicking the next object?
I hope this makes sense..
It'd be easier to be able to change the cursor in this way or something but I'm pretty sure you can only assign the cursor once?
