Spanish translations don't show accentuation

#1 Post by linkuai03 »

Hello i have some trouble making a translation from english to spanish. I put the option in the preference and make an imagebutton in the main menu and work fine but the problem i have is the accentuation (á,é,í,ó,ú,¿,¡) and the letter (ñ) they don't appear. I'm using Atom editor and save the .rpy in Unicode utf-8 and nothing happend, if i use u before the string give me an error. So enyone knows how to make it appear?

It seems your font has no accents, you need another font that supports them.

You need a font that has more glyphs. Download another font. FontSquirrel is a good site for that. It shows how many glyphs available in a font.

Squirrel Fonts were good, that is where i find fonts for my novel, maybe you can find some accents there, some of it were free, so no need to worry to pay.
I am a friendly user, please respect and have a good day.

Free doesn't actually mean free.

Be sure to check the actual license itself. A font can be free to use, but include restrictions on its use.

I'm just concerned that many people don't understand the risks involved with incorrectly using "free" fonts.
