Does anyone know how to make notifications for Android work?

I remember I found a tutorial here some time ago but couldn't make it work.

Since I added a phone function in my game, I wanted the person to receive notifications in their real phone.
A notification saying something like "New message from (character name)". And when the person clicks the notification, it would send them to that specific label. As if they really received a message.

Is it possible? I've seen something similar to that here some time ago.

Thanks.

Heh, you beat me to it.

I was also going to suggest looking into editing your exported APK via Android studio.

Now Togo find that post from not long ago where I told somebody that notifications weren't possible, and correct myself.

Thank you so much guys! I'll try to see if I can't figure something out.

This tutorial by "storykween" probably works.

I downloaded their game "MIRACLR" on Android. It was made with Renpy and the game really sends you notifications.

I think that would be very useful to many game makers.
I couldn't really make that tutorial work hah
But if I discover something, I'll share here :)
