How to run Editra on the Linux?

#1 Post by EmpressOfEmpresses »

Please, copy-paste me from the terminal. Copy-paste me like that "account@endless:~$ cd renpy-7.3.5-sdk/
account@endless:~/renpy-7.3.5-sdk$ ./renpy.sh" but for Editra.

I've tried:

Code: Select all

account@endless:~$ cd editra-7.3.5/
account@endless:~/editra-7.3.5$ ./editra
bash: ./editra: No such file or directory
account@endless:~/editra-7.3.5$ cd Editra/
account@endless:~/editra-7.3.5/Editra$ ./editra
/usr/bin/env: ‘python2’: No such file or directory
account@endless:~/editra-7.3.5/Editra$
After try to run Editra via launcher I've got:
An exception occured while launching the text editor:
Exception: Launching Editra failed.
This may have occured because wxPython is not installed on this system.

I have Linux Endless x86_64 Is there any information, that specific for specific computer? Linux endless <letters>-generic #<numbers>+dev<numbers>.<numbers and letters>beos<numbers> x86_64 GNU/Linux
If no, I'll show it in order to ask what to do with that https://wxpython.org/pages/downloads/ If yes, please, specify, I'll show only that information, that is not specific for my computer.
