Problem with loading

#1 Post by lykoia » Sun May 24, 2020 6:32 am

Good morning,
everytime I try to load I get this error message:

Code: Select all

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:
File "renpy/common/00start.rpy", line 273, in script
    python:
File "renpy/common/00start.rpy", line 273, in script
    python:
  File "renpy/common/00start.rpy", line 277, in <module>
    renpy.call_in_new_context("_main_menu")
File "renpy/common/00action_file.rpy", line 452, in __call__
    renpy.load(fn)
Exception: Style '__setstate__' does not exist.
I don't know what's going on or when this started happening but I never really changed anything about these files so I don't know what's happening

From the launcher, cancel persistents and force recompile. That should do the job.

What happened is that you changed the script in a way previous states are no more compatible. No need to worry, the above operations should restore the thing.
