Rotating images? (modifying Snow Effect code)

I'm not a coder in any way, so I'll probably need quite a bit of babying in this.

But I'm using the realistic snow-effect code found here: http://www.renpy.org/wiki/renpy/doc/coo ... now_effect

Is there a way to rotate the image used?

For instance, if I were to use the snow code to make leaves fall - could it slowly rotate them as they fall?

I deeply appreciate any help I can get on this. :3
