I want to replace the TAB button with another function, so I'd like to disable the skip function it has by default.
However, when trying this:
Code: Select all
init:
$ config.keymap['dismiss'].remove('K_TAB')
I get an error message telling me: ValueError: list.remove(x): x not in list
The wiki says K_TAB should be the right keysyms. What am I doing wrong?

You need to remove 'K_TAB' from the correct keymapping -- 'K_TAB' belongs to the group toggle_skip, not dismiss. So, you need
Code: Select all
init:
$ config.keymap['toggle_skip'].remove('K_TAB')
