Hi! I picked up Ren'py a couple days ago, and in my messing around, I've been trying to implement a lip flap/beepspeak system. So far, I have beepspeak working perfectly (almost entirely thanks to the callbacks section documentation), but the lip flaps almost work. They flap when text is being displayed and stop during pauses. However, once the dialogue reaches its end (before you click to advance the text), the lips continue to flap. The weirdest part is that the beeps stop, but the lip flap animation doesn't. I'm still not 100% sure how callbacks work, since according to the testing I did, the last event sent out before the text advances is "slow_done", which should mean that the lip flaps stop. I dunno.
This is my script.rpy file: https://pastebin.com/V3fzCgy9
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks!
