I'm working on my game audio and I'm noticing that my main music tracks are a bit overpowering. Currently, my music kicks in with the following code:
Code: Select all
$renpy.music.set_volume(0.5, delay=0, channel='music')
play music "audio/music/Song.ogg"
This is
way too loud, so I dialed the 0.5 all the way down to 0.05. This seems to be more in line with what I need with all of my tracks.
My questions:
1. Will I need to call $renpy.music.set_volume anywhere else in my script more than once? Currently, it's only called the first time before the music kicks.
2. Currently, I have the set_volume function called in the game's very first label. Is this correct, or if someone loads up a save in the middle of the game, will the audio revert back to its normal volume?
