It still doesn't work?backansi wrote:Maybe you misunderstood my topic.
In my example code, "{nw}" or "\n" doesn't matter.
(and I put {nw} just in case.. but it didn't work)
You know, I can use character name without using character object that created by Character (init)
Code: Select all
"Mary" "Hello. {nw}"
extend "Hello."
but, I got this error message.Mary
Hello. Hello.
Code: Select all
NameError: global name 'unknown' is not defined
Code: Select all
label start:
"Mary" "Hello! {w}Hello."
Code: Select all
show k n with dissolve
"K" "blahblah something"
show k s with dissolve
extend "blahblah" # error occured
Code: Select all
show k n with dissolve
"K" "blahblah {nw}"
show k s with dissolve
extend "huh?" # occures error
I don't think you can use extend without a character. Just set K as a character in the init or script like so:backansi wrote:show k n with dissolve
"K" "blahblah {nw}"
show k s with dissolve
extend "huh?" # occures error
Code: Select all
init:
show k n with dissolve
$ K =Character("K")
K "blahblah"
show k s with dissolve
extend "huh?"
