Adding transition to quick menu?
At the moment my quick menu stays on screen during transitions ie. it doesn't nicely dissolve between scenes, which makes it look a little... ugly. Is there a way to add a dissolve to the text in the quick menu?
Re: Adding transition to quick menu?
Hi, chesarty,
You can try this:
Although, it may be disturbing in some cases as well.
You can try this:
Code: Select all
transform quickmenu:
on update:
alpha 0.0
linear 1.0 alpha 1.0
Code: Select all
screen quick_menu():
## Ensure this appears on top of other screens.
zorder 100
if quick_menu:
hbox:
style_prefix "quick"
at quickmenu

Re: Adding transition to quick menu?
Theres a thread that deals with this, the trick is to move the config.append line into the quick menu itself or something.
I cannot remember exactly, so its difficult to find (the lemmasoft search fails after three pages, and google isn't helping much either)
I came up with my own fix by rewriting my quick_menus entirely, so cannot really offer a simple copy/paste solution.
