Performance warning

With 7.4, I've been getting this warning message every 2 or 3 times a project is reloaded from within the game (CTRL+R).
Any idea of the cause ?
I've included the log file too

how old is your video card?
is your video have the latest driver installed?
do you have directX 11/12/OpenGL 2/WebGL?
What is your operating system?

It's Windows 10 Home (20H2) and Radeon RX 560 - with the latest drivers, and DX12).
This only happened with the current version - with 7.3 I could reload to my hearts content.

7.4 introduced a bunch of changes specifically dealing with the video renderer. You may want to check the changelog for clues.

I think Ren'Py is running out of memory, due to the time taken to get the interface ready. I wonder if Windows logs will provide any help.
Beyond that, there doesn't seem to be any changes that could cause it.

Renpy doesn't use a ton of memory as far as I've seen, but I'm not ruling it out as a possible cause.
I'm thinking it has more to do with this.
This release also raises the minimum requirements to run a Ren'Py game. It is now required that a user's computer have OpenGL 2, DirectX 9, OpenGL ES 2, or WebGL to run Ren'Py. The model-based renderer requires OpenGL ES 3 or WebGL 2

The RX supports OpenGL 4+, and it does find everything (and run) until a few reloads are done.
I wonder if it's AMD specific...

what resolution are you making your images/animations/videos at?

Screen is set for 1280 x 720. All movies are set for that resolution as well (but none play ingame)

how much ram do you have ddr3 or ddr4

Which model?
I have an RX570 and haven't received this issue, though I haven't used the latest update to renpy yet.

your video card has 4gb of vram
try using one of these
OpenGL 2, OpenGL ES 2, or WebGL
these two might not work with your video card
OpenGL ES 3 or WebGL 2
can you share your game folder just want to see if happens on my end

I will do tomorrow. For some reason the reloading is working now, which coincidentally started with the latest Microsoft update, so I need to get that checked first
