How to have looping animation in textbox?

#1 Post by DFlimbingo » Wed Mar 24, 2021 6:11 am

Hey! I'm trying to have a 'TV fuzz' animation and put it onto my text box. I have the base textbox as a single image and the 'fuzz' as a separate set of looping images. It's already animated as an image, I simply don't know where in the code I'm supposed to put it. I attempted putting it as a simple 'show' command, but it either stops immediately or only loops once. Here's an example of what I'm looking for:

Renpy does not support animated source images. The proper way of animating images in RenPy is combining multiple source images through ATL.

Check Animation and Transformation section in the Tutorial demo game provided with RenPy and ATL section of documentation: https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/atl.html
