Custom mouse cursor in 7.4.4

setattr(config, "mouse", {"default": [(self.selected.idle, 75, 75 ) ]})
This line is not working anymore, ever with preferences.system_cursor = False

"self.selected.idle" is image filename with should be temporary cursor image (used to give quest item to on-screen character).

How to change cursor image to not predefined state ?
