Hi, I'm using RenPy 7.3.5 and I don't want to update the version. How do I fix this issue?

Hi! Please update to Ren'Py 7.4.5. It is fixed in the said version, more info here:

I can't risk updating it to 7.4.5 at the moment for android build.

You can install a second copy of ren'py on the same pc as long as you install it to a different folder.

Copy over your android.keystore file and you're good to go, there is, unfortunately no alternative as the required (online) files are inaccessible and only 7.4.5 stable and above (or a few of the prior nightly versions) have the required updates to fix the issue.

That said, renpy 7.4.5 is not that different from 7.4.4 regarding incompatibilities, are you running an older version?
