play game in browser on itch.io

\I’m wondering the best way to imbed a game to be played in-browser on itch.io. When I make the web distribution package from Ren’Py it doesn’t have the index.html file. When I do the web beta export for the files, it does have it, but it’s super choppy, especially with the music. Every time you click to continue, the music catches. Is it possible at this point to put a game on itch.io to be played in browser that isn’t extremely choppy? I mean, I've seen other Ren'Py games function well on itch.io, without the lagging and catching music, so I'm wondering how I can do that too.
