Adroid .obb files
It's been a while since I had to touch that topic.
I remember there was an option in renpy to generate .obb files, but I can't find it anymore. It seems to have disappeared, or I mix something up. Though I do have an old .obb file in my rapt/bin folder, so I'm sure there is a way, but all the information I can find here is pretty outdated.
Can anybody give me a hint?

Re: Adroid .obb files
OBB files, also known as Expansion APKs, have been obsolete for a few years now. They were only used by Google Play, and Google Play has changed to require Android App Bundles instead. Since Expansion APKs can't be used anywhere, I've removed the ability to create them from Ren'Py.

No, 2GB is a hard limit for the APK format. (We'd have to have some sort of non-APK downloader to go past 2GB.)

Re: Adroid .obb files
So, something like .obb files^^
Maybe it would be possible to include some sort of auto-update-downloader... Didn't I read something like that before here in the forum?
