I'm seeing some weird behavior with Android builds of my VN. In short, Ren'Py (version 8.0.2) caches older versions of displayables and won't update them with newer versions if they exist.
In my opinion, this is a bug. In the Android build dialog, Force Recompile doesn't help. Clean does do the right thing, but I feel like it should automatically happen any time you go to build the project. Or, at the very least, be a flag you can set like Force Recompile's checkbox. I tore my hair out for a while trying to figure this out as it's not mentioned at all in the Ren'Py documentation.
