How do you rotate and skew an Image or Movie in 3D space?

Image

So I want to show a background image, but I don't want that to be rotated/skewed, just the foreground Image or Movie I'm showing.

I checked out this link: https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/3dstage.html , but I can't get any of that code to work.

Code: Select all

camera:
    perspective True
label dosomething:
    show picture_of_car at center:
        matrixtransform RotateMatrix(45, 0, 0)
The above code always turns the picture into a 2 pixel high, horizontal line.

This happens when you omit camera statement or execution bypasses it. I suspect that you are jumping to the label dosomething, missing camera statement execution. Move camera statement inside label.
