An odd animation bug on a very specific condition

I've been messing with images to find the formula for animated `Frame`and I've found a very interesting interaction when it comes to contact with quick menu.

can I get your opinion on what's going on and if it only happens on my computer please? The code is in the attachments. make a new project, replace the files and run.

Interesting. It looks like screen is constantly refreshed and animations are reset to initial values.
Seems that presence of Preferences and QuickSave/Load actions has largest impact on magnitude of effect.

Doing further tests, it seems to happen when at least two buttons are in the quick menu.
Attaching the menu to the say screen instead of overlay causes a different behavior. (by copying the menu or using: use quick_menu)
I guess that's the extend that we can poke at it and see what happens. Maybe Tom can take a closer look at it.
