Wai!! Someone finally asked for them. I thought that maybe they were just so horrible that everyone was going to pretend that they never existed.

I still think some of the images look kinda bad, so I may edit those, or not submit them at all... Would you like large .pngs, or should I shrink them down to the new, smaller size of Alice?

Large, original size please. From there, I'll crop them and whatnot. =)

eclipse wrote:Speaking of graphics, I'll be making some changes with Alice (reason why packs are not yet up). For maximum versatility, I'm going to seperate the body parts; head, torso, hands, and feet; plus have the option of having images with or without lines (so folks can have the option of having AP-style character CG or standard style - hope you don't mind, PyTom. ^_^; ). There will be other minor changes (making all hair a uniform color and not having solely black or white in clothing so hue's can be changed...)
Did you want me to adhere to any of that? If so, I don't quite understand what you mean about the option of having images without lines. Do you mean, no inking? If so, I kind of have that, and I kind of don't...

You already can! Though, I don't exactly recommend it O_o;;; Things just don't look right... If you'd really like to see it... you can see the first one here and later stuff here. It's not actually a doll set- just add-ons for Alice. I have several other things I've worked on too that I haven't uploaded, but...

Right, so the problem with running ALICE that I had (missing dll files) I was able to solve by copying the libaries directly into tha Alice directory (originally I installed the libraries into the default dir and unzipped Alice (wait... no, I didn't mean that like THAT) into another directory on drive D:\). Maybe it's in the readme, but I haven't read that :( All people are the same...

Anyway, a great program! It is fun to fool around with and so far, it looks to have great potential. I'll experiment a bit more ^_^

out of pure boredom, I decided to mess around with the recoloring. I currently have a green-haired green-skinned girl wearing a school uniform.

funny things go on when I'm bored

Gah, how could I miss this post..? >_< Anyways, you can do what you want. It's up to you.

Anyways, yes, lines are the "ink" part, so to speak. I've finished redoing the body and you can see what I mean by lineless and lined below. =)

Junichi (and anyone else who will be using the Alice base), I'll be using the following layer numbering. This you may have to adhere to. N = negative, P = positive. Negative numbers is closer to user, positive numbers are farther away.

P 16-20 : Back Hair 1
P 10-15 : Back Hair 2
P 1-9 : Extra Appendages (Wings, Tails), Mecha Parts, Weapons, Etc.
0 - No special use
N 1-5 : Arms
N 6-10 : Torso
N 11-15 : Leg
N 16-20 : Head
N 21-22 : Mouth
N 23-24 : Eyes & Nose
N 25-26 : Eyebrows
N 27-28 : Bangs
N 29-30 : Hair Accessory
N 31-35 : Undergarments
N 36-40 : Socks
N 41-45 : Shoes
N 46-50 : Skirts, Pants, Shorts, Belts
N 51-55 : Shirt, Tees, Tanks, Suits, Jackets
N 56 & up: Other Accessories

For extra items such as earrings and so forth, can "fit" them in the extra layer numbers. For example, if you made elf ears, you can put them over the head layer @ -20. Comments, questions?

FYI, Alice hair pack now available. New body template also released for those making clothes for Alice. The ALICE body version will duly be released and remaining images (clothes, facial expressions, accessories) afterwards.

Hmmm... I tried to add the pack, but the hair in the pack doesn't line up correctly with the original body. Do we need to wait for the modified body?

Ah, okay. One more comment. The layering on the hair backs in the pack are backwards (best seen on 006, since the ribbon ends up behind the hair). Otherwise, just waiting for a doll body to test things on.

Really? Gah! I think I messed up the numbering. <.< Bases should be 15, Lines @ 14, and that 006 ribbon set should be Base= 15, Ribbon=14, Lines=13. Will fix asap. Btw, body set now available!
