NVL and ADV switch

#1 Post by sare » Tue Jan 04, 2011 8:04 pm

This is a feature I've seen in Fate/Extra. What I want is to combine both modes in the story, nvl mode is for narration and adv mode is for conversations, especially the long ones.
Something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0sNC3Nytkc
What i want is the transition between 0:05 to 0:03 in the video. I don't need the side potrait though, just the code to show the boxes as such. And it is not something user-enabled, it just changes according to story.

Thanks in advance!

That isn't a problem. You can just define nvl and adv-mode characters, and Ren'Py will get them right.

Problem solved! However, I decided to use nvl mode entirely since it looked better that way. You're one awesome mod~
