Washington DC: Sakura Matsuri Festival

I'm considering going down to the national cherry blossom festival next saturday (April 9 2005), and I was wondering if anyone else will be there.
It's unlikely, but figure it's worth a shot,

I would love to go to a sakura matsuri. But it's quite a long way from England. ;D
The sakura have been in bloom here too, though. SunKitten grinned at me in mid-March that it was a highly appropriate month in which to be writing a ren'ai game...

I think we should plan more get-togethers in general. While I'm probably not going to europe anytime soon, if anyone wants to hold something at a con in the northeast US, I'll probably be game.

Too bad I won't be in DC then. (I'm back in NY on April 16th, then back to DC in June, then back to NY in September. If at points in the process I don't know where I am, now you know why.)

It was just a suggestion though, because realistically, I am only able to visit cons in the Czech republic and Austria (Vienna in particular). I would consider going to Germany though, if there were a lot of people from here, but I doubt it. But should any one of you ever come to Vienna or Bratislava, I can take you around the city ^_^
