I've just started playing the demo and it rocks! :D It's really fun and Robin's personality is really loveable. XP It's pretty easy to understand why she's so pissed at her group. Really good job! Love your art! :D I can't wait to try out the full game! :D

Ah yes, I gave my band name "Death Bringers".
Aaaah! Forgive me! I suck at names sometimes! :(
I just thought it fits Robin's style :p

One other thing though, since the demo took 100 MBs, how about the real one?

Probably 200-300mb, at most, 500mb. But don't quote me on that, haha. I have no idea at this point. A lot of the music that will be used will already be there, but I have a music fetish, so I will probably still add a lot more. Plus, the background images take up a good deal of space, too, and there's a LOT of those that weren't in the demo.

Backgrounds will be about 50mb, sound effects will be about 50mb, interface and sprites will be about 30mb, and then the music will range from 100-200mb, maybe more (hope not, though). xD I reduced the quality of the songs for the demo, but I will try to limit that for the full-game ... I dunno. We'll see!

D: You're telling me! I have horrible download speed, too! Uploading the demo (all 2.5 versions) took an hour each. >_<
I hate to make it a BIG game, but the music is really, really important, you know?

Played the demo and it was brilliant, it felt really nice and fresh, as well as very high quality. Well Done!
I called my band: Floyd Cruises The Med
(It was on TV as I was deciding a name :D)

As a thought, perhaps you could put the sound and music in a separate .rpa, then you could upload a version with low-quality music and provide the higher-quality .rpa as a separate download (or an alternate download of the whole thing with high-quality music, if it's a more significant proportion of the final release, even)?

I guess a separate .rpa might be a bit problematic for Mac users, but it's hardly impossible to copy extra things into a .app, and it could be done with a short script file as well...

It's going to be such an amazing game with so much stuff in it, I'm sure it'll be worth the big filesize. Though I say that now... when I get back to college I'm back on bandwidth limit XD'''' So yes maybe make a version with lesser quality music as Jake suggested.

"In our world of big names, curiously, our true heroes tend to be anonymous. In this life of illusion and quasi-illusion, the person of solid virtues who can be admired for something more substantial than his well-knownness often proves to be the unsung hero: the teacher, the nurse, the mother, the honest cop, the hard worker at lonely, underpaid, unglamorous, unpublicized jobs." -Daniel J. I'm announcing a character contest!

... Because my creativity juice ran out. >_<

I need your help, guys!! More information on what I would need is in the first post. Deadline is a loose "end of July." Should be plenty of time. Maybe too much. O_o Anyway. It would be cool to get at least 3 entries, lol.

I will certainly look more deeply into this character contest. Once I get a better feel of how the story works, that is.

That's so awful! I mean, wonderful!
I seriously look forward to your character idea. ^___^

Joo too!? This made my day! Did you need any info from me? Events can be triggered basically anywhere, anytime. They work best if tied to a specific date (say, a holiday) or at a certain time, like at the end of the month, when you play a gig, when to go into a shop, etc.
