Hmmm.. all the active professors seem to have very similar titles in their top 10... same goes to the 95-100% rated titles... So I guess there's little chance of hiring someone who profoundly believes the best anime to date is Najica... :( Well, I thought so... Anyway, congratulations... do you just write them and say I want to be a staff member? Out of curiosity. 8)

There is a Staff Contest whenever one of the old Professors quits. Then you apply, submit a "demo review", answer an few questions, send everything to Kain and pray. It worked for me. ^_^

It seems you've written a lot more reviews than those on anime-wave then? I'd like to read them, actually, if you have something like a page which has links to all your things or just list the sites you've published on... I rather liked the style/substance article on Animewave, it really kind of confirmed to me that I'm not the only one who thinks this way about EVA. :)

Although I have to say the minireview format that Animeacademy has is a bit too short for me, as I prefer at least a 15-minute read, with bits of offtopic or illustrative examples to make a point. And I think percentual rating is really a bad idea. :(

It's kind of interesting for me, because I am also in the process of switching sites I write for, I have a new series of articles in mind that could go well with the new site's audience which is I think a bit different than that of my club pages'. Anyway, just some thoughts on this subject, I think one should always write for those who can/will appreciate the messages, opinions or topics you bring up. :P

It's not that many. There's the Library in the Anime Academy Lounge ( http://www.animeacademy.com/forums ), and there is http://www.nihonreview.com, formerly known as AMG Reviews. That's about it.

Just a question about this thread - does it have to be stickied? There is no information value to it (anymore) IMO, and it hasn't been used since 2005, so... maybe it's time to unsticky it?
