@Aleema : Thank you very much! Hurr, you have just exposed a massive hole in the logicality of my VN. xD I was thinking that this game is set in...somewhereland, but I figured that there's got to be, you know, at least one person in any country who likes visual kei and Starcraft. Heh.

Excellent question...there's an option to choose which race the main character will play, although it doesn't really affect the story so much; I just thought'd it'd be a cute little thing. Hehe. (BTW, I also play Terran! 8D Awesome. *too lazy to even attempt to master Zerg/Protoss hahaha*) As for the textbox--well, I thought since the VN's sort of school-related..."Lined paper. (I don't play, but my two guy friends talk about it ALL THE TIME, to the confusion of my roommate and I)

It would take more work of course, but I think it would be funny to have the player race to have some role...

Isaac plays Zerg, London plays Protoss, and Sebastian plays Terran.

That does seem to match their personalities...the mysterious Zerg, cultured Protoss, and quirky Terran.

Just thinking about the romantic dialogue cracks me up. By the way, that's just one other reason for making the race picking count:

Emo line as Zerg: "Sacrifice me..."
Flirting line as Terran: "Where does it hurt?"
H-Scene line as Protoss: "The merging is complete."

oh! and reading about the races and such, I agree that it might be better if the race did affect the game a bit, even in just small ways. Like say the protagonist played Zerg right, and since Isaac plays Zerg that could open up some dialogue between them . Maybe they could talk about or argue about certain strategies and such

...Huh. Reading this, my first thoughts are characters ruled by body (Isaac, Zerg), mind (London, 'Toss), and soul (Sab, Terran.)

Let me unpack that a bit. I mean that if you go that route, I would imagine Isaac would be the earthy, physical one - not necessarily touchy, but likes to move and thinks by doing. And so on, with a cerebral, philisophical and introverted London and a empathic, sensitive Sebastian.

But it's your game, not mine. It would just be kind of funny and appropriate.

I'm not much into Starcraft *fails at any kind of strategy*, but my boyfriend and some friends are and I actually enjoy watching other people play, so i guess I can relate to this too a bit X3
