I haven't updated in like a month. ;_; Sorry. ...Well, first things first: thank you for the lame (jks, I love them!) Starcraft puns. You guys are awesome.
And now I shall spam this thread with mass amounts of screenshots. Yay! Click for full-view...and yes, I did in fact adjust the game screen to make it ridiculously large.
EDIT: Wait. Photobucket resized my images automatically. RAGE. D:
This was my motto when drawing the main menu: "If it exists, you can chibify it and make it cute." *cries*
The game contains 792 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 10,091 words,
for an average of 12.7 words per screen.
The game contains 19 menus.
There was major editing done to the dialogue and I cut out a bunch of scenes, so I actually DID do work. Hahaha. I tried out screens, but I fail...so, no.
(Aren't you impressed that I somehow managed to keep the same average number of words per screen?)
...I am so behind schedule. PFT.

First off;
WHY MUST ALL OF YOUR BOYS BE SO DAMN GORGEOUS?!
I swear I'm going to have so much trouble deciding who to go after first D:
hehe XD
Looks great so far! Love the screenshots you posted, and your motto made me grin XD
Glad to see an update from you~ But don't worry about being late or like, not providing us with LOADS of new stuff. Don't rush yourself, I know I won't be going anywhere anytime soon
Will be awaiting more updates~! <3

Because romance VN. But that doesn't detract from the excellent art style.night_serenade wrote:First off;

Re: rageQQ : a nerdy otome game [WIP]
Late replies are late. But TsundereLightning & night_serenade, you guys are awesome.
SO, I haven't really updated in a long time. Here is a list of stuff that I have done since the last time I posted something because...I'm actually doing stuff. ;_;
The game contains 1,696 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 20,895 words,
for an average of 12.3 words per screen.
The game contains 35 menus.
All hope is not lost! I will persevere and hopefully, this will be out by the summer (I can't believe I was originally aiming for the end of February! OTL).
Basically, this little post is to assure you that I AM NOT DEAD. And I haven't completely given up on the project, just buried under piles of projects. (Oh yes, it is that "wonderful" time of the school year...)
Kekeke.

- an obscene amount of CGs. (Well, at least in my opinion. Haha.)
- a wonderful new menu. I drew some pixel art and it was
time-consuming and tediousgreat. - lots of script edits / addons / etc., and a new day "header".
- a new font...I went through a whole bunch and have tentatively decided on this one.

Re: rageQQ : a nerdy otome game [COMPLETED]
OH MAN, GUYS, I AM SO SORRY. I just saw these comments today. (Whoever commented as present on my devblog, I actually lol'd at your comment.)
Some explanation in order: I finished "rageQQ" in June, but I wasn't satisfied enough to release it on Lemmasoft. So I kind of just left it. I wasn't aware people actually wanted to play it, haha (I smiled with glee for a good half-hour! You guys write the nicest comments.).
HERE IS THE DOWNLOAD LINK IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. /hides in shame.
Some whiny comments: old art is old. Horrific writing is horrific. Plotless plot is plotless. Rushed aestate was rushed. And I wasn't able to make obscure Starcraft jokes + references (I created this game for one of my friends, who I didn't want to bore with random tactics or whatnot). So this ended up being a stats-raising game with sporadic and completely out-of-the-blue references to SC. OTL. I left the script file intact if you want to find out how the game works, but, trust me, it's reeeally straight-forward.
Please let me know what you think anyway? D:

Re: rageQQ : a nerdy otome game [COMPLETED]
You know, I only played a few minutes but I really like this game. Your sense of humor is amusing and your writing is far from horrific.
I think this deserves to go in the completed game section so more people can play it. Before that though, it would be great if you add music! It'd also be nice if the sprites were more expressive. Other than that, I think this is really enjoyable. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself
